Digital Rights Management on some ebooks:

Copying not allowed
Printing not allowed
Lending not allowed
Reading aloud not allowed
What the heck? 😎
Well, actually it means the ebook reader cannot read the text out to you as speech (i.e. automated text-to-speech). Hopefully reading the book aloud yourself isn’t considered copyright infringement (yet).
Why does this flag exist? Because if you want to have it read to you by the device, you have to buy the audiobook version from the publisher as well!
