Saw my first smash and grab today. As I was turning into my housing area at around 5pm, in rear view mirror I saw a motorcyclist next to a myvi at the traffic lights smash the passenger window, grab something from inside and speed off.Really, when you see this in real life, it just happens and is over in a split second.
It didn’t look that hard to actually give chase to them since there weren’t too many cars on the road … but I guess the real issue for any good samaritan is not the chase, but what to do when you finally confront them and they pull out a knife. So everyone went around their usual business.
