Lenovo G460: No sound on headphones

Symptom: On Ubuntu 10.10, plugging in headphones, and the sound continues to play from the internal speakers. 
Fix: Append to /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf: options snd-hda-intel model=thinkpad

So that’s one issue solved. Quite a nice keyboard on this model, good for doing work on.

Screen a bit fuzzy though compared to higher-resolution laptops. Cheap alternative to a T-series thinkpad.
