“Hello, World!”
A warm welcome to baby Alia Zahra Shahada …
She was born early at 35 weeks and 6 days, and is currently in the incubator. Mother is recovering from caesarean and resting.
Baby’s heartbeat was at 156 bpm when I took the photo, now stabilized down to about 135-140 bpm.
Update 21:00 19 Jul
Baby must be fed up of me peeking in at the window every 30 mins and has now turned her head to look the other way …
